“I feel that luck is preparation meeting opportunity.” ~Oprah Winfrey
Some say there is no such thing as luck! As an avid gardener, Sue loves to watch things grow in her garden. Planning is a lot like gardening; you have to plant the seeds to reap the fruits of your labor. That is Sue’s approach to life and how she works with clients. It isn’t luck, you just have to start planting!
Over the years of working in the industry, Sue noticed that many people settle and don’t live abundantly because they feel that they are unlucky. She works with hundreds of people to lay out the steps to reach their financial goals. Planning is preparation! You too can have a plan that helps you take advantage of new opportunities in your future.
Sue Fritz is a life-long learner and passionate teacher. She entered the insurance and financial services industry in 1998 and founded Fritz Financial & Consulting Services in 2006. In 2016, she expanded her practice to Florida and became licensed to sell financial and insurance products through her coastline office.
Before entering the financial services industry, Sue was busy raising her family and continuing her education as she worked full time with both Kellogg Company and State Farm Insurance. In 1998, while still working, she began obtaining the necessary licenses and seven industry designations in preparation for entering entrepreneurship.
In the early 2000’s, she started listening to and reading Dave Ramsey books. His principles on planning and investing resonated with her, and in 2013 she became one of Dave Ramsey’s “Endorsed Local Providers” (ELP). This was an extensive screening process but provided her with another great tool to add to her resources as she serves her clients.
In recent years, she has also found joy and fulfillment in teaching as a business lecturer at the Haworth College of Business at Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo.
Sue holds seven designations; including a CLU (Chartered Life Underwriter) and ChFC (Chartered Financial Consultant) which are financial credentials granted by The American College to individuals who are dedicated, qualified, experienced and ethical. A CLU, ChFC prepares a plan for the protection you need and deserve throughout your lifestyle changes. Sue is licensed to serve Michigan, Indiana, Florida and Texas, and accommodates her business clients additional licensing throughout the US. She obtained a Bachelors of Business Administration and a Masters in Organizational Leadership from Siena Heights University.
When she is not working, Sue enjoys extensive travel with abundant water and sunshine. Her family includes two adult children and nine (9) grand darlings. Her constant companion is “Velvet,” a Bichon/Teacup 2.5 pound Poodle. Velvet is not only cute, but is also trained as a medical assistance dog. She has the best of both worlds between Michigan summers and the Florida Emerald Coast the majority of the year.
